Is an Ukranian tenor.
He graduated from the Music Academy of Ukraine and "Atelier Liryque" Opera National de Paris. Oleksiy was among the 5 finalists of the prestigious"BBC Singer of The World" singers competition.
He is member of Staatsoper Hamburg, where he performs roles such as:
Ferrando, Tamino, Ottavio, Belmonte, Nemorino, Fenton, Edgardo and Lensky.
House debut at the
Last year Oleksiy was supposed to sing Ottavio in "Don Giovanni", but the production was cancelled. This summer he is finally going to make his debut on the stage of Bayerische Staatsoper as Cassio in "OTELLO"

Oleksiy is going to take part in two productions of Barrie Kosky.
"Eugene Onegin", which he alredy sang at the Edinburg Opera Festival and " Falstaff ", new production of the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence, in coproduction with Komische Oper Berlin, Opéra National de Lyon and Bolshoi Theater Moscow at Komische Oper Berlin.

Oleksiy Palchykov was a fine Lensky, bright voiced, fervent and volcanically jealous, taking a nasty swing at Olga but redeeming himself somewhat when his beautiful aria was devastatingly sung
